Referral

To submit a Referral the following should be expected;

  • Feedback on their contact such as technical or cultural fit
  • A valid email address
  • Notified their contact of the opportunity at your company.
  • Provided their referred contact a genuine perspective on the culture, the hiring process, the company leadership, the job duties, etc.

The employee will be required to agree to a disclaimer, stating that they have notified their contact about the opportunity.

Bonus suggestions - If an employee submits a contact this way and they are subsequently hired we suggest offering your normal company Referral bonus.

Lead

To submit a Lead the following should be expected;

  • Feedback on their contact such as technical or cultural fit

They should not be expected to reach out to the contact themselves.

The feedback is given to the talent team. If the feedback looks encouraging the talent team can reach out to the contact and bring them into the process.

This is a great way to collaborate with the entire organization and can help drive DE&I initiatives, as this is a way to combat unconscious bias that might play into referrals, and also get a broader, more diverse set of candidates at the top of the funnel.

Bonus suggestions - If an employee submits a contact this way and they are subsequently hired we suggest offering 5-10% of your normal Referral bonus.
